(1) For the purpose of sub-section (3) of section 33 and rule 66 of the Act, if the real estate cannot be enjoyed within the prescribed distance, such real estate owner shall be given a lump-sum compensation amount as determined by the compensation determination committee established under rule 88, by the government of Nepal or the person who has obtained the permit.< br> (2) The compensation given as per sub-rule (1) shall be applicable only in the case of electricity-related construction works to be constructed after the commencement of this regulation.
(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (1), compensation shall not be given in the following cases:-
(a) If the land is under a service line connected to provide electricity to the landowner,
(b) If the main line is taken from the wall of another house on the way when the power line is taken from one house to another house in densely populated urban or rural areas.
